Student Information System (SIS) Faculty Center provides:
- Ability to view class lists
- Ability to e-mail all or selected students enrolled in a class
- Ability to release an advising hold with click of a button
- One-stop link to class and advisee information
- View of weekly teaching and exam schedules
- Electronic grading functionality—ability to grade in the SIS or to upload from UVaCollab

What goes where: the SIS Faculty Center or UVaCollab
- Day-to-day class management – such as web site, discussion groups, etc. occurs in UVaCollab (replacing Toolkit).
- Class information (course mnemonic, number, and section number) and enrollment information will be sent from the SIS to Collab and updated nightly.
- Advising information will be in the new SIS.
- Grading may take place either in the SIS or in UVaCollab.
